MUMBAI, JUNE 21, 2026 – To mark the 12th International Day of Yoga, the Association of NSE Members of India (ANMI), in collaboration with the National Stock Exchange (NSE), successfully hosted a grand morning wellness session today at the iconic NSE Atrium in Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC).
The event witnessed an overwhelming turnout of India’s top financial minds, market veterans, marquee investors, and leaders of prominent Asset Management Companies (AMCs) coming together to champion holistic health, mental clarity, and stress management in the high-stakes world of capital markets.
The morning kicked off with a warm welcome address by Mr. Kamlesh Shroff, National President of ANMI, followed by insightful opening remarks by Shri Ashish Kumar Chauhan, MD & CEO of NSE, who highlighted the critical importance of mental resilience and physical well-being for financial professionals operating in fast-paced global markets. Ms. Shaina NC, National Secretary & Spokesperson, Shiv Sena, also delivered an inspiring special address, emphasizing wellness as a pillar for long-term productivity and societal balance.
The centrepiece of the morning was an invigorating, high-energy holistic wellness session led by global leading holistic health guru Dr. Mickey Mehta. Market leaders participated in specialized stretching routines, foundational yoga asanas, and deep pranayama techniques tailored to relieve the sedentary stress common in corporate environments.
Following the physical session, attendees were treated to a deeply restorative Sound Healing, Meditation, and Relaxation experience curated by wellness expert Ms. Parmita Shroff. The therapeutic sound waves provided the perfect tranquil contrast to the usual hustle of the stock exchange floor.
Speaking on the success of the initiative, Mr. Kamlesh Shroff, National President, ANMI, said:
"The daily grind of trading and wealth management can take a heavy toll on mental and physical health. Today, by stepping away from our screens and onto the yoga mats at the NSE Atrium, the financial fraternity has sent a powerful message: investing in our personal well-being is just as critical as investing in the markets. We are thrilled by the exceptional participation from across the industry."
The event concluded with a vote of thanks, an energetic group photograph of market leaders on the mat, and a networking session over specially curated healthy, mindful refreshments.
