by Shrutee k Mumbai, March 23rd, 2023 :   Netflix India hosted the official celebration for its Oscar winning documentary, The Elephant Whisperers in Mumbai with filmmakers, Kartiki Gonsalves and Guneet Monga. 13th March, 2023 was a proud moment for India when Netflix’s The Elephant Whisperers made history by becoming the first film produced in India to win an Academy Award in the “Documentary Short Film” category at the 95th Oscars. To make this occasion even more special, Bomman and Bellie, the protagonists of the documentary, joined a very special press conference, coming all the way from the Theppakadu Elephant camp in Tamil Nadu. by Shrutee K New Delhi, March, 2023:  GAIL (India) Limited, a Maharatna CPSE under the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, has declared Interim Dividend for FY 2022-23 of 40% on the paid-up Equity Share Capital, which is Rs 4 per Equity share (Total Dividend amount: Rs 2,630 crore) with a record date of March 21, 2023. The Board of Directors accorded the approval in a meeting held today. Shri Sandeep Kumar Gupta, Chairman & Managing Director, GAIL stated that the Company has been providing shareholders with a steady long-term returns on their investments. Further, based on current shareholding of Government of India (51.52%), Dividend of about Rs 1,355 crore shall be paid to Government of India, while other shareholders will receive about Rs 1,275 crore.
