INOX partners IDCA for building awareness for Deaf Cricket in India

IDCA launches its maiden #DaretoDream campaign across INOX cinemas by Shrutee K  New Delhi, 29 August 2022:  With a vision to provide a platform for talent & endeavors to bring Deaf Cricket into mainstream cricket, INOX Leisure Ltd (INOX), on the occasion of National Sports Day, have announced their partnership with the Indian Deaf Cricket Association (IDCA). Excitement Among Indian Shoppers Jumps to 68 Percent, Driving Consumers’ Intent to Spend This Festive Season

The survey highlighted that 68 percent of Indians are excited ab out the upcoming festive season sales, an increase from 59 percent last year. In addition, two in three shoppers intend to spend as much or more this festive season. Buoyant optimism prevails over inflation concerns Despite rising inflation, the propensity to spend among urban Indians is the highest this year since the pandemic.  This optimism is reflected in consumer eagerness to splurge this festive season . COGENERATION TO SUPPLEMENT SIGNIFICANT ROLE IN THE HYDROGEN ENERGY INITIATIVES FOCUSED BY THE GOVERNMENT

by Shrutee K The Govt. of India has set a target of 175 G.W. (900 GW) renewable energy by 2022 which includes 100 G.W. (750 GW) solar energy, 60 GW (102 GW) wind energy, 10 GW (28 GW) Biomass power and 5 GW (20 GW) from small hydro project. Cogeneration is an important source of Renewable and Green energy power using the concept of combined Heat and Power utility. The Non-Fossil Bagasse based Cogeneration Power Plants in the Sugar Sector uses Bagasse (considered as an Agricultural Biomass waste residue) to generate steam for the sugar manufacturing process and electricity for the energy needs. This power is inherently a strong ‘Decentralized Energy’ (DE) saving huge transmission and distribution losses. In India there are a total of 732 installed sugar mills. Out of these about 523 mills become operational in which 360 mills have cogeneration plants generating 7562 MWs electricity. The total estimated potential stands at 14000 MWs from 550 mills.
