LANXESS and Advent International complete foundation of industry leading Engineering Materials joint venture

by Shrutee K   Mumbai, April 24, 2023  – Specialty chemicals company LANXESS and private equity investor Advent International (“Advent”) have completed the formation of their engineering materials joint venture effective April 1, 2023. The new joint venture is the result of the combination of DSM’s Engineering Materials business and LANXESS’s former High Performance Materials business. LANXESS holds about 40 percent of the joint venture, Advent about 60 percent. LANXESS also received a cash payment of around EUR 1.3 billion on March 31. LANXESS is using this mainly to reduce its debt and thus to strengthen its balance sheet.    As financial support for the joint venture, LANXESS will be providing a loan of EUR 200 million. MHADA and CDP Group under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana launching second phase of 'Chadha Residency' at Vangani

by Shrutee K 20 th  April, 2023 Mumbai : The Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA) has teamed up with Chadha Developers & Promoters (CDP) to launch the second phase of their public-private partnership project – “Chadha Residency” in Karav village, Vangani West, Near Badlapur. The project, worth Rs 200 crore investment, covers 80 acres and has 133 towers. The second phase of the project includes 1114 1BHK flats available in a lottery for Rs 11,99,000. In addition, there is a scheme under the Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojna (PMAY) benefitting the Labour Scheme (Kamgar Yojna), priced at  Rs 9,99,000.  The lottery has already begun and will close on April 28, 2023. The realtor has promised possession of the flats in 2024-25. The first phase of the project was launched in 2021 and had a successful sale of 3000 flats. Godrej Properties had its best ever quarter for sales bookings, cash collections, and project deliveries

GPL’s highest ever quarterly and annual sales -   Q4 FY23 bookings to INR 4,051 Crore and FY 23 booking value grew by 56% to 12,232 crore.   Sales volumes for the quarter grew by 19% QoQ in area terms from 4.42 million sq. ft. to 5.25 million sq. ft.   Sales volumes for the full financial year grew by 40% in area terms from 10.84 million sq. ft. to 15.21 million sq. ft.  GPL’s Cash Collections for FY23 grew 41% to INR 8,991   Crore. by Shrutee K Mumbai:  Karnatak Sporting Association (KSA) inspired by the excellent bowling performance from Rakesh Prabhu and the solid batting by Shaun Rodrigues who cracked an unbeaten half century went onto register a commanding 7-wicket win against host MIG Cricket Club in the final of the Padmakar Talim Shield cricket final, played at the MIG CC ground, Bandra. Choosing to field first, Karnatak SA’s Prabhu bowled superbly and claimed for wickets for just 24 runs and his efforts was instrumental in MIG CC innings folding for a measly 126 all out in 17 overs. Kaushal Valsankar 31 runs and Varun Lavande 28 runs were the only two batsmen who managed to stay long in the middle.
