Hyderabad: Haier,
the global leader in Home Appliances & Consumer Electronics and World’s
Number 1 brand in Major Appliances for 11 Consecutive Years*, announced
the launch of 83 products across categories along with its plans to spearhead
the IoT era in the home appliances industry. Augmenting its product range in
major categories such as, refrigerators, air conditioners, washing machines,
LED TVs and others, Haier is propelling its 2020 vision to strengthen its
commitment to the Indian market.
The
event which was held at Hyderabad International Convention Centre, showcased Haier’s cutting edge
smart home solutions across categories. Haier has always driven
customer-inspired innovation and persistently identified the unaddressed
requirements of its consumers by delivering products, which are relevant to
their needs. With the expansion of its product portfolio to smart
home solutions, the brand expects to continue its high growth momentum across
categories in the future and serve the growing customer base across India.
Haier showcased products across
categories including; Air Conditioners, Washing Machines, Refrigerators,
Televisions, Microwaves, Deep Freezers and Water Heaters. Some of the key
products powered by IoT and AI included – Android and Google Certified Smart
LED TVs, Wi-Fi enabled Washing Machine, the new Clean Cool Range of ACs with
the largest indoor unit in the industry and Smart Refrigerators with an
in-built LED screen installed in the door, among others. Haier strives to further
strengthen its customer base through an extensive retail network of large
format stores, multi-brand outlets and a robust dealer network across India. At
present, the company has a strong network of 20,000 dealers across India, in
which around 2,000 are direct dealers and 18,000 indirect.
The brand also promises of robust
after sales services to its customers through its strong service footprint in
the country. It has over 539 service centres, including Haier Exclusive Service
Centers (ESCs), Authorized Service Centers (ASCs) and Direct Service Centers
(DSCs) in more than 19,000 pin codes across India. Haier has a strong network
of 4000 plus service engineers that includes 2500 specifically dedicated in DSCs
& ESCs. The ‘Face
Identification Feature’ for its Engineer Mobile Application ensures greater
customer satisfaction and enhanced security by enabling identification of
on-ground Haier engineers.
Haier’s effective service
system like door to door Mobile Service Vans, 24*7 toll-free helpline and Dr.
FIDO Live Chat feature available on the Haier India website, ensures a quick
and efficient service solution for its customers across India. The brand has also introduced

Smart Home Integration: Haier ushered in next-generation living by unveiling its
revolutionary smart home experiences ecosystem across categories. From AI
enabled Smart TVs to Smart Refrigerators and Wi-Fi enabled Washing Machines,
Haier showcased its innovation prowess for next-generation consumers.
Refrigerators: In the
refrigerator category Haier launched its flagship IoT enabled T-Door Fridge
with an in-built smart LED screen. With this new launch, the brand seeks to create
an Internet of Food Ecosystem by adopting industry-leading connectivity technology
and offer the best user experience. The big display screen installed on the
door of the refrigerator is Wi-Fi enabled and comes loaded with other smart
applications that create a connected ecosystem in your house.
Haier
focused on energy efficiency as per BEE norms and has converted its entire
frost free range of refrigerators (across Top Mount, Bottom Mounted
Refrigerator and Side By Side) to Twin-Inverter Technology which is industry’s
first in terms of 10 years warranty on both fan motor and compressor.
The
brand also focused upon 27 new models in different segments – 21 in Small
Direct Cool segment, 5 in Big Direct Cool, among others. The small DC single
door refrigerator ensures high performance, best-in-class aesthetics and space
management available in 171, 182 and 192 Litres capacity with 2/3 Star ratings
as per new BEE norms 2020. Haier’s Big DC range is its first inverter range of
single door refrigerators which effectively addresses the concern of limited
space by providing up to 40L more fridge section than any conventional top
mount refrigerator of the same capacity.
Air Conditioners: Haier
will be kick-starting the summer season this year with the launch of 29 new air
conditioners to cater to diverse needs and requirements of its customers. The
brand is augmenting its PuriCool range of ACs this year, with the launch of an
upgraded version. Other than the in-built ifD air purifier, the new 5 star rated
range is Wi-Fi enabled and knitted with impressive voice assistance.
Other
key Models of 2020 line-up in the AC category include FlexiCool Pro convertible
model, CleanCool XL with 5 star rating (1.5 & 1 Ton) and the CleanCool Smart
AC. While the CleanCool XL 5 star Inverter AC comes with the highest cooling
capacity (5400 Watts), the CleanCool Smart AC in 3 Star rating incorporates
Wi-Fi and Voice Enabled features.
Both the
air-conditioners are equipped with Haier’s revolutionary self-cleaning (SCT)
and triple inverter+ technologies. As an industry first, the CleanCool XL air
conditioner has the biggest indoor unit with 11 per cent expandable capacity
(1200 – 6000) and ensures 33 per cent more airflow than any other conventional
AC.
Washing Machines: Haier has
announced 8 new SKUs in the washing machine category including its
industry-first Front Load Smart Washing Machine with the Super Drum. It is not
only Wi-Fi enabled but also boasts of the Industry’s Biggest Drum: 595mm,
making it one of the most efficient products in this category. The Washing
Machine comes with a 10Kg washer and 7kg dryer and allows for time savings of up
to 55 per cent. It is knitted with Haier’s latest Direct Motion Motor technology.
The
brand also launched its another Wi-Fi enabled Front Load Dual Drum Washing
Machine, which can be operated through Haier Smart Home App and allows the user
to wash independently in 2 different drums at same time. The Washing Machine
incorporates Haier’s latest Direct Motion Motor technology that increases
efficiency and delivers a super silent performance with reduced wash time. The
new technologies introduced enable the user to have a more holistic laundry
experience.
Consumer Electronics/LEDs: Haier
unveiled 7 new models in its Google Certified Range of Android LED TVs. The
company launched its new bezel-less super slim range of Smart TVs for an
immersive viewing experience for its consumers. In line with Haier’s Smarter
Life with AI promise, the Next Generation all-screen Android TV combines
exquisite design, vibrant picture quality with 4K and Full HD technology along
with a mesmeric sound experience. Inspired by Haier’s advanced technology, the
newly launched televisions come with the latest Android Pie (9.0 version) with
Artificial intelligence powered TVs work with voice control Google Assistant.
Haier’s new smart LED TV can become an IoT hub for smart homes to seamlessly
integrate other connected appliances for a smarter living experience.
Water Heaters: Haier is
expanding its product line-up of Water Heaters with six new models and
introduced ABS Square Body. The range comes installed with manual and digital
panel for the convenience of the customers. The brand 10 new variants in the category with Wi-Fi enabled option in Golden Spray ABS outer body.
Microwave Ovens: Haier launched
two new variants in the product category: 25ltr convection in mirror glass
finish and 30ltr convection (HIL3001CBPH) in floral finish.
