Trevina Hex scores in Young Guns win

Mumbai, June 10: Striker Trevina Hex was the star performer in Young Guns FC’s narrow 1-0 win against PIFA Sports in a Women’s Super Division encounter of the Mumbai Football Association (MFA) League 2022-2023 and played at the Neville D’Souza ground, Bandra on Saturday morning.

The energetic forward Trevina scored the lone goal in the 75th minute which helped Young Guns clinch the win and collect all the three points.

In the second women’s match, Future Stars and SC Bacaim shared honours as they played out a 1-1 draw. SC Bacaim scored through Prekila Telang and Punam Kumari scored for Future Stars. 

In a Men’s Third Division play-off encounter, Kalina Strikers got the better of Madanpura FA by a close 2-1 margin. Bevan Galbano struck both the goals for Kalina Strikers while Manadpura pulled one back through Rohib Hazari’s strike. 

In another play-off match, Rising Boys Academy and Ummat Milan FA were involved in a 1-1 draw. Shoaib Shaikh scored for Rising Boys Academy while Ummat Milan scored through Gufran Ansari. 

Results – Women’s Super League: Young Guns FC 1 (Trevina Hex) beat PIFA Sports 0. 

Future Stars 1 (Punam Kumari) drew with SC Bacaim 1 (Prekila Telang). 

Men’s Third Div play-off: Rising Boys Academy 1 (Shoaib Shaikh) drew with Ummat Milan FA 1 (Gufran Ansari). 

Kalina Strikers 2 (Bevan Galbano 2) beat Madanpura FA 1 (Rohib Hazari).
