Mishtann Foods Ltd in Focus with FIi's stake increase
Nomura Singapore-backed Mishtann Foods share price has been in uptrend for last one month. In last one month, Mishtann Foods share price has surged from ₹7.25 apiece to ₹9.70 apiece levels, logging more than 30 per cent rise in this time. While appreciating to the tune of 30 per cent in last one month, this small-cap penny stock has come close to its 52-week high of ₹11.80 apiece levels. In fact, the small-cap penny stock has been rising for the last six days, logging near 17 per cent in last one week.
Mishtann Foods Q4 results 2023 : .The small-cap company, which has a market cap of ₹953 crore, has reported near 10 per cent growth in revenue from operations to ₹168.89 crore, which stood at ₹153.47 crore in the corresponding period in previous fiscal. The FMCG company claimed this growth was primarily driven by various product launched by the company in domestic and international market.
In one of its latest exchange communications, Nomura Singapore-backed Mishtann Foods claimed that EBITDA increased by 4.57 per cent from ₹22.33 crore in Q4 FY22 to ₹23.35 crore in Q4 FY23. EBITDA margins decreased from 14.55 per cent in Q4 FY22 to 13.82 per cent in Q4 FY23 by 73 bps.
The company's PAT increased by 7.45 per cent from Rs. 13.15 crore in Q4 FY22 to Rs. 14.13 crore in Q4 FY23. PAT margins decreased from 8.57 per cent in Q4 FY22 to 8.36 per cent in Q4 FY23 by 21 bps.
Nomura Singapore shareholding in Mishtann Foods : The small-cap company informed Indian exchange in one of its latest exchange filing that Nomura Singapore has raised its stake in the company to 1,28,25,854 Mishtann Foods shares, which is 1.28 per cent of total paid up capital of the company. As per the Mishtann Foods shareholding for Q4FY23, Nomura Singapore name is missing from the list of FIIs that owns more than 1 per cent stake in the company. This means, Nomura Singapore has bought shares in the company after the end of Q4FY23. However, it would be difficult to ascertain whether the FII bought all shares in Q1FY24 or it bought company shares to an extent that it came above 1 per cent of total paid up capital of the company.
Current trade volume of this small-cap penny stock is 64,90,745, which is much higher than its last 20 days average trade volume of 50,40,664 and around two hours of trade is still left on Tuesday. This penny stock has a market cap of ₹953 crore. The BSE listed penny stocks' 52-week high is ₹11.80 whereas its 52-week low is ₹7.09 apiece
